The Senior Relationship Manager is a senior-level position responsible for assisting clients in raising funds in the capital markets, as well as in providing strategic advisory services for mergers, acquisitions and other types of financial transactions in coordination with the Institutional Banking team. The Senior Relationship Manager also serves as an intermediary in trading for clients. The overall objective of this role is to act as a strategic advisor to our clients by formulating investment strategies and raising capital for clients.
**Responsibilities**:
- Expand a portfolio of accounts with varying/complex financial needs with the objective of revenue growth and good credit quality in line with Citi’s credit standards,
policies and processes
- Identify customer needs and recommend solutions to address these needs, such as financing, streamlining of cash management operations, foreign currency solutions, etc.
- Cross-sell banking products, including cash management, trade finance, trade services, structured trade products, foreign exchange, commodities, fixed income, loans (including syndicated, bilateral) and capital market products
- Responsible for all credit aspects of the relationship including annual reviews, early problem recognition and remedial management**Qualifications**:
- 6-10 years of experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of credit analytics and financial modelling
- Proven expertise in Risk assessment and valuation

- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience

**VP PS MEXICO**
The VP will be a senior member of the BCMA Public Sector banking team. The role is to coordinate and lead efforts to identify and implement business opportunities with Mexico public sector clients, and involves managing the client planning, analysis, engagement and communications. This is done in partnership with bankers in other relevant business lines. The overall objective of this role is to deepen client relationships and drive revenue by cross selling the Citi platform while efficiently deploying the firm's capital and evaluating and managing risk.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in identifying the needs and help develop a strategy across sub-segments of the Public Sector: national and local governments, central banks, development banks, ministries of foreign affairs, state owned entities.
- Track macro developments, rating agency actions and policy decisions to identify potential transaction opportunities.
- Develop PS content to assist in the presentation and development of new ideas to clients. Connect with the global PSG network to source content and replicable experiences. Research and monitor key public sector trends and innovative practices to identify new opportunities.
- Support the origination, design and execution of Public Sector transactions across CMO, TTS and Markets in close coordination with other partners.
- Support strategic planning for clients through product deep dive sessions and the account planning process.
- Have flexibility to participate (contribute and learn)
in Global Public Sector Initiatives and Projects carried out by the senior team in NY.
- Provide coverage support for strategic global names. Support the Mexico’s CCO and BCMA heads for client meetings by conducting macro research.
- Accompany and assist PS seniors to client meetings, industry events and others as necessary.
- Identify and develop training sessions and / or materials for the BCMA and Public Sector networks.
**Requirements**:
- Relevant experience as banker, solid credit & risk knowledge, comprehensive knowledge of financial modelling and a good understanding of public sector clients.
**Education**:
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
- Master's degree preferred.
