Scope
Technical analysis (including architecture documents), development, maintenance, unit tests and implementation of solutions under its responsibility.
No team management.
Periodic reporting of its activity to his/her manager.
BI team:
The User Interface BI technical expert is a member of an international team of 10 to 15 collaborators located in France (Paris), Serbia (Belgrade), USA (Reston) and India.
- Microsoft Power BI.
- MicroStrategy.
Other technologies used in current BI solutions:
- Oracle, Azure Microsoft SQLServer and PostgreSQL Databases.
- Azure Cloud Platform services (Azure SQL database, Pipelines, MDS...).
- ETL Informatica.
Main missions




- In close collaboration with the BI Projects & Products team, designs, develops and implements appropriate BI solutions (including architecture) aligned with business requirements, functional and technical specifications.
- For Business Intelligence, recommends business organization models and the partitioning of roles and responsibilities between the business and IT teams
- Implement, adapt and promote technical standards, best practices and IS implementation standards for the BI development team.
- Guarantee the technical expertise of the BI IS.
- Evaluates new BI technologies and software to assess, in conjunction with the BI Projects & Product team, the viability and opportunity to implement them within the group.
- Attend and take part in meetings/lead workshops related to assigned responsibilities, such as workshops to define the technical architecture of the BI solutions to be implemented, based on the functional specifications.
- Correct any technical issues affecting the operation of BI solutions.




- Guarantee the performance of BI solutions in conjunction with the Operations teams.
- Support the BI Projects & Product team during the testing phases inherent to these activities.
- Ensure the implementation of technical solutions in line with the regulations, laws and procedures in place in connection with the relevant legal departments.
- Provide all the technical information required for the exploitation of BI solutions by the Operations teams.
- Set up and administrate the BI technical environments (Dev, UAT, Production) in close collaboration with the Operations teams.
- Implement BI solutions in line with the SLAs.
- Ensure the software implementation and indicators to measure / monitor the use of the IS in close collaboration with the BI Projects & Product team.
Experience and education
Education
Engineering school or university degree in the IT or/and BI fields.




Experience
- At least 6 years of project development experience in various technologies with strong analytical skills.
- Significant experience in the design and development of BI solutions within an international and multicultural group.
- Very good knowledge of database environments (especially Oracle, Azure SQL Server), database optimization techniques and data modeling.
- At least 1 year experience on cloud platforms such as Azure.
- Experience with data analytics tools and machine learning.
- Experience communicating with stakeholders (operational and managerial).
