**Your Profile**
- Strong/High verbal and written English communication.
- Education: BS in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology or related experience required.
- Experience in development draft outline drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, bills of materials, test plans and O&M; manuals for the customer.
- Must have knowledge and experience in industrial instrumentation and process control.
- SIMATIC PLC Family and PCS7 hardware architecture experience is required.
- SIEMENS HMI & SCADA hardware architecture experience is required
- Must have >5 years of relevant industrial automation hardware design/ maintenance experience.
- Provide engineering expertise and oversite to manufacturing on highly customized production orders
- Must have general knowledge of industrial controls, including relay logic, etc.
- Must be able to interface with customers and vendors and resolve comments and changes to documents and drawings.
- Ability to read schematics and interpret customer specifications.
- Strong organization and excellent time management skills.
- Possess a familiarity with and follow all engineering policies and procedures.
- Computer skills required, including Microsoft Office, Visio, and Project.
**Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, AndExperience**
- Field service background
- ISA, IEC & NEMA standards knowledge
- Able to read US and non-US drawings
- Knowledge of Siemens S7 PLCs and PCS7
- Interfacing with MCCs and Switchgear Experience as a plus
- Rig pass and sea book (as a plus)
**Your Responsibilities**
- Attend or lead design reviews both internally and with customers to resolve technical and programmatic issues.
- Provide support to other company functions during the manufacturing process to bring designs to completion. These functions include operations, procurement, planning, testing, coordination of outside vendors, etc.
- Provide support to customers and the Customer Service group to maintain existing designs and resolve customer field issues.
- Participate and perform action items as a team member or lead projects involving other engineers and cross-functional team members.
- Responsibility to comply and / or enforce the protocols, policies, and guidelines of the current integral management system (EHS, Quality).
