**Finance Manager**
**Role Purpose.**
This is a Business Finance role which stands to support the Retail Business Banking Business (PYMEs) with timely and accurate financial reporting, analysis, key highlights on financial performance, KPIs, customer acquisition/attrition, sales activity, pricing, etc
The role holder must be a financial advisor and supporter of Business Banking business.
Prior experience in Profit & Loss management is fundamental: Revenues (Interest received, interest paid, fee income and fee expense in detail) and Costs. Also the role holder is expected to set up the reporting requirements and partner with product, finance and business teams to implement and support strategic initiatives.
The role requires managing the monthly financial reporting activities. Overall deliverables must be undertaken on time and with high quality. This role is fully analytical and strategical.
**Main activities**:
- Provide key highlights on business performance to local and global stakeholders
- Analyze and identify risks and opportunities for the business in a timely and proactive way
- Requires strong understanding of Business Banking/ PYMEs products and business
- Independently manage overall reporting deliverables ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial and Non-Financial information
- Identify, raise and streamline ways of working and doing things
- Planning and Forecasting: support the Planning process by developing efficient and accurate forecast models for predictive impacts on Profit & Loss (PnL) based on levels of net new money, sales, changes in pricing, changes in market and macro-economic conditions, regulatory requirements, etc
- Analytical models should be effective so they can be quickly updated to provide timely support for business key stakeholders.
- The ability to create and develop accurate workbooks or dashboards, to timely and profoundly analyze business performance, will be a critical factor in the success of this role holder.
- Partner with offshore and onshore teams to ensure data is submitted on time, is complete and accurate. Track instances of incomplete and inaccurate data to follow up and solve issues detected.
- Resolve any instances/issues that jeopardize data integrity.
- Cost analysis and management - side with cost team to manage cost and understand key drivers. Continuously review cost initiatives with business owners to identify risk and opportunities.
- Contribute to key stakeholders and senior managers with material ideas and analysis for a better decision making; in order to achieve business objectives
- Add value and provide oversight to the business as well as to financial unit with deep insights and findings.
- Promote and get involve in the implementation of business and financial strategical initiatives
- Knowledge of financial local and international norms and policies desirable

**Requirements**:
**Experience**
- 2-3 years at least in Accounting/ Finance / Economics or related areas
- Solid experience in Financial Planning, Reporting &, Assets, Liabilities and Capital Management
- Consolidation and Analysis of Financial information
- Financial statements knowledge and management is fundamental
- Management Information (MI) data process
- Database management
- Advanced Excel
- Highly analytical skills, keep on detail without missing overall picture.
- Study trends and interpret financial and non-financial information
- Understanding of accounting reporting rules: US-GAAP and IFRS
- Knowledge of Business Banking/ PYMEs products and business
- Process streamlining/reengineering knowledge desirable
