This full-time position reports to the Senior Engineering Manager and will work remote in Mexico City. To ensure sufficient overlap with functional and cross-functional team members globally, some flexibility with this role's regular work schedule will be required.



Most of our teams have overlap with early morning and/or early evening PST. Specific scheduling needs for this role will be discussed in the initial interview._ _
**What you’ll do**:
- Lead and mentor a team of frontend engineers, providing guidance on coding practices, design patterns, and software architecture
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend engineers, to deliver high-quality, scalable, and performant frontend solutions
- Architect, develop, and maintain efficient and reusable code using cutting-edge technologies such as React, Next.js, and Vercel
- Integrate with Content Management Systems (CMS) to manage and display dynamic content on the frontend
- Work in an Agile Scrum environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups,



and retrospectives to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met
**What you bring to the table**:
- Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field strongly preferred
- Proven experience as a frontend engineer, with at least 3 years of team leadership or lead engineering experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment
**Required Skills**:
- Proficient in React and Next.js frameworks
- In-depth knowledge of Core Web Vitals and best practices for frontend performance optimization
- Strong understanding of agile Scrum methodologies and principles




- Hands-on experience with REST APIs and serverless functions
- Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) for dynamic content integration
- Experience building composable UIs and/or component libraries with React
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library
- Strong understanding of unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing principles
- Thorough understanding of WCAG2.2 principles and guidelines
**Preferred Skills**:
- Experience with Dynamic Yield (DY) for personalized content delivery
- Experience with Vercel deployment and hosting
- Knowledge of AWS Lambda for serverless computing
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like New Relic for performance analysis
- Understanding of error tracking tools such as Noibu
- Exposure to GitHub Copilot for efficient code generation




- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of SEO; URL structure, structured data
**Notes**:This is a full-time (40 hours/week), indefinite position with benefits.
