**Eaton’s CRDS - RWD division is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team.** This position is based at our Cd. Juarez facility.
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for performing cost accounting, forecasting and financial analysis, budgeting, special project analysis, and enhance overall financial awareness to provide plant and divisional management with accurate and reliable information. This position will support accurate product line reporting, product costing and ensure consistency of financial information between ERP systems employed.
Some activities related with the position will be:
- Prepare financial analysis, drive development of financial forecasts,
and participate in timely closings of a multiple legal entity and dual currency site.
- Assist with the preparation of annual profit plan, strategic plan, operating reviews, and reporting of financial data and analysis.
- Focus on continuous business process improvements. Drive departmental goals and collaborate with plant cross functional teams to advance current processes and procedures while implementing improvements with appropriate documentation where possible.
- Participate in annual physical inventory and plant cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and drive root cause analysis to increase precision.
- Perform product cost accounting and analysis, ensuring accuracy and consistency of data for each product line and related reporting in ERP systems utilized.
- Analyze operational financial data, investigate variances, and report their impact on planned objectives. Prepare monthly reports for local, product line and divisional management.
- Ensure compliance with Eaton's accounting policies and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements (e.g. SOX,
internal audit, E&Y;, etc.).
- Maintain and analyze monthly entries to budgets and balance sheet accounts which include the processing of accounting entries and the analysis of changes for accuracy and correctness of account distribution as accordance to Eaton financial policies and US GAAP.
- Furnish ad hoc analysis and timely communicate to the Accounting Manager and Controller on business issues, providing supporting documentation and recommending alternative courses of action.
**Qualifications**:**
Required (Basic) Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or Finance or related field from an accredited institution
- Experience of at least 3 years in a similar position
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Knowledge of Oracle R12, SAP,
and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of accounting fundamentals, including forecasting, variance analysis, and reconciliations.
- English 80% proficiency
