**Day to day responsibilities**:This role serves as a central point of contact to employees for technical troubleshooting support,
request fulfillment and PC and telecom configuration, hardware provisioning including network and software access control, user coaching and problem solving.
**What will you be doing**:- Provides comprehensive technical support to Volteo Digital employees worldwide- Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements- Troubleshoot issues and outages- Ensure data security through access controls and backups- Assist in the tracking of hardware and software inventory worldwide- Develop expertise to train Volteo Digital employees worldwide on new technologies- Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies- Assist and interact with hardware and software vendors- Participate on committees and/or projects with Volteo Digital-wide teams**Required experience and skills**:- Associate or bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required- 1+ years of experience on IT or software organization and proven experience in technical support roles- Preferred,
fluent in English language- Has experience in, or is certified in Administration of Office 365 suite- Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management- Experience working with different operating systems including Windows and Mac OS- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude- Understanding of Web Technologies (Java/JavaScript, XML, HTML, Web Services, etc.
)- Knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols are a plus- Has experience in creating technical documentation and procedures and has experience in serving as resource for training materials in response to staff inquiries for technical support
