**STATUS**: Full-Time, Permanent
**WORKPLACE**: Saltillo, Mexico

**ROLE**:
Reporting to the Vice President of Finance and Accounting at ISE Metal Group, the position holder will act as a member of the executive committee of our plant in Mexico.
The Plant Controller will lead the financial function to achieve the corporate financial objectives, provide guidance and encourage team members to continuously improve and grow.
The Mexico plant has now around 250 employees.
**RESPONSABILITIES**:
- Partner with all members of the site leadership team to ensure ownership and accountability for financial performance;
- Manage a team of 3 employees;
- Identify process improvement and cost reduction opportunities across the full profit and loss statement;
- Manage plant internal financial reporting and ensure compliance with internal controls and policies of the assigned division and business unit in Mexico;
- Assist in creating and achieving the approved budget for the plant;
- Partner with the Plant Manager and the plant management team to achieve company-established goals and objectives;
- Work with the Plant Management Team to ensure the achievement of overall plant objectives, including analyzing data to initiate improvements and cost savings;
- Present plant financials and scorecard to plant and business unit management;
- Manage the forecasting process, including analyzing trends and patterns, determining the impact, and making recommendations for the plant;
- Assist the Plant Manager in achieving the overall strategy as a member of the Plant Management Team;
- Manage systems for current, accurate, and complete accounting and reporting of job costs, overhead, inventory, controls and policies, and physical counts for cost accounting, inventory, and assets;
- Be responsible for month-end closing and associated balance sheet management, accruals, and reconciliations;
- Build, develop, and manage a high-performing team capable of carrying out the Finance and Accounting functions and responsibilities, including performance management and succession planning;
- Foster a culture of relentless pursuit of continuous improvement, including contributing to and supporting product development, new business development, centralized purchasing, and operations objectives,
as well as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing (V2);
- Support Plant customer service efforts and contribute to cross-functional teams, including customer or supplier visits, to achieve the overall effectiveness of customer relationships;
- Ensure the safety of associates within the Plant Finance function;
- Model Corporate Values and Principles;
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business;
- 5+ years of experience as a financial manager and leader with a strong focus on operations;
- Expertise in Mexican Maquila accounting and compliance;
- Knowledge of SAP, ERP software and Microsoft Office;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
with the ability to articulate complex topics in a persuasive and passionate manner;
- Skilled at delivering effective presentations;
- Demonstrated experience in leading, managing, and developing employees with the ability to relate to people at all levels of the organization;
- Analytical thinking;
- Ease of adaptation;
- Autonomy and entrepreneurial spirit;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines without compromising quality;
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (French is an asset).
