We are currently working with a seasoned private equity real estate in Mexico with a solid presence in the industrial real estate sector. Our client seeks a Senior Analyst / Associate to to join its investment team and work with senior members in deal sourcing, analyses, due diligence and execution. This position is based in Mexico City.
- **What the job involves**
- Analyse and execute investment opportunities in the industrial real estate sector
- Help to lead and manage a team of junior investment analysts.
- Create reports,
compile data, and perform in-depth analysis of investment performance to identify attractive areas of investment opportunity and competitive analyses
- Conduct financial modelling including analysis of financial statements, valuations, returns, and competitive ratios
- Interface with third parties to compile required data and information and resolve diligence-related issues while mitigating risks
- Perform in-depth market and asset class analysis to adequately assess and support the underwriting of investment opportunities from both a risk and return perspective
- Prepare internal quarterly portfolio reports detailing performance, exposures, concentrations, and other qualitative characteristics to evaluate and monitor the ongoing performance of the investments
- Participate in M&A; transactions, assisting in the preparation of financial models and business valuations, creating client marketing presentations, conducting industry and company-specific due diligence, and assisting in the preparation of fairness opinions
- Participate in Investment Committee activities; provide supporting materials for decision-making
- Maintain deal pipeline to memorialize all screened investment opportunities
**Who we are looking for**
- Experience in the real estate sector in Mexico, ideally industrial
- Bachelor's Degree in finance, economics or another related field
- Solid financial modelling, project evaluation and analytic skills
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
