**Description**:
**Your team responsibilities**
Sales Operations (Americas) provides front line operational support to Americas Coverage Team and other cross-functional teams within MSCI. The team operates during business hours in the US, Canada, and Latin America. The team is involved in the pre-sale and post-sale aspects across all business units primarily related to contract creation and management, product and service activation and deactivation, and deal management and reconciliation thru the firm’s CRM platform, Salesforce.
The team is also involved in multiple ad hoc projects covering process and system enhancements, project efficiency, and new product launches testing, among others.

**Your key responsibilities**
Contract Creation and Management
- Draft and provide day-to-day support to Americas Sales Coverage in connection with the preparation and booking of license agreements.
- Partnering with Sales Coverage and Legal Team to improve turnaround time of legal contracts.
Product and Service Activation and Deactivation
- Grant access and set delivery of products, data and software.
- Work with Client Service, Product, and Sales in resolving product delivery issues.
- Work with Sales in accurately removing client’s access to products and services.
Deal Management (New and Renewals)
- Ensure contractual/commercial details are accurately captured in Salesforce.
- Work closely with Revenue and Sales Coverage in closing deals and resolving contractual discrepancies to ensure deals are closed on time.
- Partner with Sales Coverage with the extension or cancellation of licenses.
- Collaborate with Sales Reporting and Revenue Team on actions involving adjustments on closed deals.
- Check and manage notices of renewals are communicated to the client within a strict timeframe.
- Liaise with Billing and Account Receivables Team to ensure prompt resolution of client payments or contractual issues including refunds and unapplied cash receipts.
Ad hoc
- Work with Product Management on product and process improvement initiatives
- Identify gaps, propose solutions,
and liaise with cross functional teams to use technology or remove obstacles in improving process efficiencies and automation
**Your skills and experience that will help you excel**
Specific Knowledge/Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field, preferably with prior experience of the finance industry in a similar role
- Fluency in English is a must.
- Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, particularly excel (pivot and often used formulas such as pivot, vlookup, if/error)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written).
Desired Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Business/Commercial industry in a similar role
