**Logistics Manager**
The Logistics Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating global and domestic logistics operations, ensuring compliance with trade regulations while optimizing processes for efficiency and profitability.
This role plays a critical part in driving seamless transportation and fostering strong relationships with carriers, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Logistics and Operations**: Oversees transportation and warehousing, focusing on strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline goods movement.
- **Compliance Management**: Ensures adherence to trade regulations, customs procedures, and company policies while maintaining accurate shipment documentation.
- **Vendor and Carrier Relationships**: Builds and maintains strong partnerships with carriers and brokers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery solutions.
- **Customer Focus**: Acts as the primary point of contact for customers, brokers, and logistics vendors, addressing issues proactively to meet delivery expectations.
- **Project Management**: Leads logistics projects and implements initiatives that improve end-to-end delivery processes.
- **RFP and Procurement Management**: Manages procurement processes for carrier services, negotiates contracts, and monitors vendor performance.
- **Documentation and Reporting**: Prepares and reviews import/export documents, generates detailed performance reports, and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs).
- **Strategic Planning**: Analyzes market trends to identify opportunities and mitigate risks, supporting business growth and operational excellence.
**Key Requirements**:
- Demonstrated experience in 3PL delivery and end-to-end 3-in-1 compliance.
- Strong relationships with carriers and brokers.
- Solid project management experience with a proactive, self-driven approach.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Valid U.S. visa and passport with the ability to travel.
- Knowledge of EDI systems and processes.
**Other Abilities and Skills**:
- Strong understanding of compliance and import-export processes (a significant plus).
- Excellent negotiation skills, particularly in managing sales and maintaining customer relationships.
- Exceptional communication and follow-up skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Independent and self-motivated professional capable of managing multiple priorities.
**Educational Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
A Master's degree is preferred.
- Over 5 years of experience in logistics,
import/export, or similar roles.
