Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Program Administrator located in Aguascalientes.
Reporting to the Program Manager the Program Administrator assists with managing key customer accounts in all aspects of the business relationship.
It ensures there is a common interface to the Customer and between the multiple sites; focuses on tactical execution that affects the strategic relationship between Flex and the Customer; and continues to monitor and reduce program risk, while maximizing program profitability.
What a typical day looks like:
- Assists in the review of program proposals or plans to determine timeframe, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing the program, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the program.
- Confers with appropriate managers within Program Management, Operations, and others to outline work plans and assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority, and to receive technical advice and resolve problems.
- Works with the Program/Engineering Manager to coordinate activities of Customer Focus Team (CFT) members to ensure the program progresses on schedule and within the prescribed budget,
including facilitating the necessary matrix relationships.
- Reviews status reports prepared by Customer Focus Team (CFT) members and modifies schedules or plans as required.
- Controls Customer Purchase Order Management, from start to finish (is in charge of Order Book and Shipping).
- Prepares program reports for Management, Customer, or others.
- Monitors, reports, and coordinates any troubleshooting of Accounts Receivable (AR).
- May have P&L; responsibility for sections/sub-functions.
- May assist in metric development and tracking.
- Occasional travel to customer locations.
- Assists the Program Manager (PM) in any other activity that the PM deems necessary.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
- Fluent in English.
- Decision-making ability.
- interpersonal skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
- Knowledge of project management, supply chain and logistics, and finance area or customer service.
- Excellent customer relationship and management, negotiation, and communication skills.
