Assisting the business function and/or Business Excellence Centers, as TMC Trade & Transportation Specialist, you will ensure that goods are shipped while meeting quality, legal and costs parameters.
In this role you will maintain and improve transport/logistics processes to optimize product and material deliveries.
**This position reports to**:
TMC Transport and Trade Specialist
**Your responsibilities**:
- Preparing and updating the monthly logistics schedule to ensure deliveries to production locations and coordinating product delivery schedules with customers.
- Coordinating daily activities to track finished goods and raw materials, and rerouting freight to meet demand and minimize costs.
- Communicating status to Logistics and Sales organizations as appropriate.
- Working with transport service providers and brokers to effectively execute processes, assisting in obtaining permits, and preparing proper documentation.
- Aiding the development and implementation of improved processes and systems and maintaining the master data.
**Your background**:
- Bachelor's Degree in International Relations, International Business, Foreign Trade or related.
- Two years of experience working in similar positions.
- Experience with Customs (Invoicing for customs - review of customs declarations, knowledge of Annex 22, 24, 30) - Focus on customs (Exports - Imports) - Virtual operations.
- Good knowledge in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge in SAP and ZOE is desirable.
- Basic English level.
- Collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Proactive - Focused on results and great ability to work as a team member.
