**About the role**:
Define and execute standards for Supply Planning processes, aligned to regional strategy.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Setting and reporting on FG Stock level, Safety Stock,
Replenishment Times, and other planning master data.
- Ensure correct setup of network in APO-SNP
- Ensure correct definition of inventory parameters (eg.
Safety stock, min / max)
- Ensure correct setup of Product Sourcing Strategy
- OTIF reporting & investigation with RCCA.
- Supply Planner is accountable for ensuring system Supply Planning driven alerts are responded to and resolved in a timely manner.
(Examples of types of alerts - supply shortages, below min stock, above max stock, stock to expire, over/under capacity).
- Communicating with customer care around supply issues/requests which can be Customer or Factory driven - e.g.
short lead time requirements, amendments to customer orders, delivery dates, factory issues.
This task can be delegated to the Production Planner if they are better placed to feedback supply impacts to Customer Care.
- Interaction with 3PL to ensure Stock is available to meet customer requirements and management of shelf life of products.
- Manage Supply chain and logistic complaints through correct procedure and channels.
- Rough cut capacity planning - ensuring capacity is balanced (supply/demand), and that a feasible production plan is provided to the Production Planner.
- Cross functional discussions around potential capacity issues feeding into S&OP.;
- Oversee Production Planning and Material Call-off activities for their site/region.
- Medium to Long-term Capacity planning - Feeding into stock holding and capacity localization/investment decisions.
- Inputs into NPI Process & ongoing MDM requirements
**Qualifications and skills**:
Academic:
Food Engineer, Chemical Engineer, Food Chemical or related.
**Language**:
English (Advance)
**Experience**:
3 or more years of experience in similar positions in food or pharma industry.
Knowledge
SAP, Process, systematic, analytical attributes
Time management skills essential.
Detailed knowledge of MRP / Supply Planning
