**General Description**:
As a Data Management Jr.
Manager, you will lead data governance and master data management (MDM) initiatives to build the MDM Governance strategy for México.
In the deployment to Americas, this position is critical in laying the transformation for enterprise data policies, standards, and optimized systems/processes to leverage data as an asset.
In this role you will develop data quality assurance framework and engagement model, drive prioritization, interface with business stakeholders and technology partners to guide diagnostic analytics and technical solutioning.
You will lead the data catalog initiative for successful design, implementation, end user training and adoption.
This role will interface with cross functional teams to roll-out the enterprise data management and health scorecard as critical components of information governance at the enterprise level.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Implement a comprehensive MDM strategy and operating model, transforming how data is sourced, managed, standardized, governed, and consumed in order to develop long term a centralized Master Data group for all the Americas for SAP and Legacy Systems.
Defines and implements master data strategies, policies, controls, and programs to ensure the enterprise data is accurate, complete, secure, and reliable
Develops a strong governance framework as a concept of "one single shop", to manage all the Master Data requests and to improve data integrity and keep it sustainable over time.
Works with Master Data Board Members to build and maintain master data approval workflows.
Builds streamlined, automated data entry and data approval processes around relevant master data.
Contribute ideas for efficiency gains and other process improvements.
Identify and address data quality inconsistencies that may appear across any data sources in order to manage and maintain data assets in alignment with data management processes
**Education/Certifications**:
Bachelor's degree in IT.
Business Administration, Engineering, related field or equivalent work experience preferred
Strong experience handling Master Data in a multinational environment, with SAP as an ERP.
Process certifications a plus (Six Sigma, Agile techniques, etc)
Green Belt or Black Belt Certifications very helpful
**Previous Work Experience**:
5+ years of experience, prior experience in a shared services environment preferred
Strong Data Management experience.
Strong ability to influence indirectly across the organization.
Strong business analysis competency with historic success in shaping opportunities via conceptual thinking and abstract problem-solving capabilities
Analytical mindset to resolve issues in a variety of complex situations
Experience in Project Management and Continuous Improvement.
Demonstrated experience in managing and influencing senior stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
Experienced in facilitating cross-functional team discussions.
Demonstrated experience in Business Transformation and Cost Efficiencies
Established time management skills with the ability to direct multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Executive presentations is a must.
Ability to work, prioritize and make decisions independently in a fast-paced services environment.

data catalogs, business glossaries and business data processes
Mange master data, data quality and data governance
Essential knowledge of business processes impacting data quality

Be flexible and resilient, comfortable with ambiguity, adaptable to a high-change environment
**Languages**:
Advanced English level Required
**Computer Skills**:
Tableau or Power BI is a Plus
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Project Management and Process Mapping Software
