**This position reports to**:
Maintenance Manager
**Your role and responsibilities**:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the processes in maintaining and preserving the efficiency of all equipment, production lines, and/or facilities, resulting in the optimization of technical and financial resources.
Each day,
you will oversee execution of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities.
You will also showcase your expertise by managing and updating technical documentation of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities.
The work model for the role is: Onsite #LI-Onsite Global relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position.
This role is contributing to the ABB Electrification Installation Products plant in Guadalupe.
You will be mainly accountable for: - Defining maintenance plans for new production lines or facilities, and consulting on ways to improve reliability, maintainability, and safety of equipment and/or facilities.
- Solving major technical, equipment, or facilities problems to achieve higher performance of the production lines.
- Proposing improvement projects for processes and production lines aimed at reducing ordinary and extraordinary maintenance and optimizing operational and energy efficiency.
- Responding to emergencies, breakdowns, malfunctions, and other operating problems to minimize disruption in the production process.

**Qualifications for the role**:
- You have 1+ years of experience in the maintenance area.
- You have mechanical and electrical knowledge.
- You have knowledge of electrical safety and in low, medium, and high voltage.
- If you have PLC programming experience is a plus.
- You area easy to communicate in English in an intermediate level.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering completed.
