ERP Project Manager will lead ERP projects from conception to implementation.
You will work closely with country teams, regional teams, functional teams to ensure that ERP solutions align with SGS goals and integrate seamlessly with our existing systems.
- Project Planning and Management: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Work closely with cross-functional Business teams, including IT, HR, Finance, Operations, regionally and at country level, to ensure seamless integration and adoption of the ERP system and all related modules.
- Project Leadership: Lead and mentor project team members and contractors and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
- Stakeholder Management: Manage stakeholder communication and ensure ongoing engagement.
Act as a mediator between stakeholders and team members.
- Budget and Resource Allocation: Develop and deliver budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes.
Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
- Create a program management framework that can be adopted to ensure that the program objectives are met.
This will include agreed review points for all activities.
- Risk Management: Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
Plan for and mitigate risks that can affect the project timeline and deliverables.
- Quality Assurance:
Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and requirements.
Implement project standards across projects to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Foster an open approach to reporting, ensuring that the status is clear, the tools are easy to use and there is an open culture to report on the project status.
- Foster collaboration and communication among team members.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA or relevant master's degree preferred.
- Desirable PMP certification.
- 5+ years of experience in managing large scale global ERP implementation projects
- Software life cycle and enterprise software knowledge.
- Strong analytical ability, particularly in a technical environment.
- Experience in ERP implementation principles,
practices and methodologies
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience in change management and business coordination.
- Self-starter, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines with mínimal supervision.
- Familiarity with project management tools and software, such as Smartsheet, JIRA, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
**Additional Information**
- Availability to relocate to Colombia.
- English Advanced
