Resumen de Posición:
Responsible for material requirements planning, supplier relationship management for and managing purchasing for direct, indirect and miscellaneous materials.
Responsabilidades Esenciales:
**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Manage the purchasing cycle, PO creation, PO Follow up, goods reception and final payment.
- Select suppliers according to the type of product, cost, quality (product + service) provided by the supplier.
- Negotiate costs, warranties, delivery, handling and penalties for late delivery.
- Monitor supplier performance, measures and provides feedback on supplier performance.
- Provide an uninterrupted flow of materials and services.
- Purchases competitively.




- Identify and reduce or eliminate waste in supply chain processes.
- Using suppliers whose methods and core competencies will align with lean requirements and developing long term relationships with them.
- Update delivery dates during gembas.
Requisitos del Puesto:
**EDUCATION**:
**Electrical, mechanical, industrial, mechatronics engineer.

**CREDENTIALS OR CERTIFICATIONS**:
APICS (desirable)

Six sigma basics

English, able to maintain a business conversation, written communication.

Supplier metrics

**SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE / TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES**:
Purchasing, scheduling, product and service design, supplier relationship management, process improvement and six sigma, execution, planning, scheduling control.
Widely knowledge in different commodities and services, mainly bolting,



fittings, bearings, painting, shims, cutting tools, welding, instrumentation, maintenance, manufacturing process, engineering drawings interpretation, machining process, production process consumables.
