**JOB SUMMARY**:We are seeking an experienced Optimization Data Scientist to join our dynamic Data Science team at Syneos Health.
In this pivotal role, you will work closely with our data science team to develop and implement advanced optimization algorithms that enhance our operational efficiency and decision-making processes.
Your expertise will be crucial in transforming complex business problems into optimized solutions using cutting-edge techniques and tools.
This position offers a unique opportunity to lead the charge in leveraging optimization methodologies to drive substantial business value.
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:- Design and develop optimization models to improve business processes and decision-making across various functional areas.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for optimization and to integrate these solutions effectively within our existing systems.- Implement and refine algorithms that support operations research, including linear programming, integer programming, heuristic and metaheuristic methods.- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of optimization models to ensure robustness and scalability.- Utilize predictive analytics and machine learning alongside optimization techniques to enhance model accuracy and performance
