Let's break it down:
Goods & Services is looking for a Senior Software Engineer who will develop and support integrated automation solutions.
This individual will work in a team setting to automate the software delivery pipeline, manage cloud solutions,
and create tooling to streamline and enhance current automation workflows while building new workflows for next-generation solutions.
What you'll do:
1. Automate in-house processes and develop custom tooling for CI/CD.
2. Configuration Management for cloud-based infrastructure.
3. Cloud Infrastructure security.
4. Mentor and train the team.
5. Contribute to the development of the internal development platform.
What you'll need:
1. BS in Computer Engineering or related field.
2. Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle.
3. 5+ years of experience with cloud management.
4. Experience in software development for cloud-based applications and container-based solutions, such as Serverless and Docker Containers.
5. Cloud development experience, including solid experience with AWS and basic knowledge of Azure.
6. Knowledge or experience with Go development is highly preferred.
7. Experience with front-end web development using React.
8. Experience in automating software and deployment environments for CI/CD using Jenkins and/or GitHub.
9. Experience in configuration management tools,
such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Nice to have:
1. Experience with Kubernetes.
2. Experience with AWS CDK.
3. Experience with GitHub Actions.
4. Experience with AWS Serverless Applications.
5. Ability to perform in a team environment with task-oriented focus.
