Video Conferencing Coordinator – MACD Specialist

As a Video Conferencing Coordinator – MACD Specialist supporting Global IT Video Conferencing Services, you will be trusted to work on MACD (Move, Add, Change, and Delete)
activities and service optimization at Mexico City, Mexico.
IN THIS ROLE, A TYPICAL DAY WILL INCLUDE:
- Coordinating and executing MACD activities for video conferencing systems, including installation, updates, changes, and removals of equipment and configurations.
- Managing and prioritizing service requests in the ITSM platform (e.g., ServiceNow), ensuring timely and effective resolution according to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Providing escalation support for complex video conferencing issues, collaborating with engineering teams or third-party vendors for troubleshooting and resolution.
- Analyzing current video conferencing setups and recommending improvements or optimizations to meet business needs.
- Documenting MACD activities, service requests, incidents, and solutions for accurate record-keeping.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
- Education: B.S. or B.A. in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience managing video conferencing systems and performing MACD activities.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in video conferencing platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco Webex).
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with IT Service Management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow) for service request tracking.
- Behaviors: * Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication with technical and non-technical teams, offering clear guidance and support.

Work Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 05:00 pm CST.
- On-call availability for escalations or critical MACD activities.
