Position: Customer Quality Engineer





Responsible for coordinating activities related to customer quality issues and aftermarket complaints, driving problem-solving resolutions and addressing customer complaints. Be the voice of the customer in the plant and be the primary plant contact for any customer service communication. Ensure rapid response to customer requirements and various issues occurring at customer sites and provide timely and accurate feedback to relevant departments of the company. Track and report to relevant internal departments to analyze problems and rectify implementation. Provide status updates in the daily management reviews, lead external sorting activities, visit customers regularly related to quality items, and strive to maintain good relations with customers.

JOB SUMMARY

- BD- BA, Accountancy, Laws, Human resources, or any other related field.
- English Conversational skills - fluent required; reporting is directly for Shanghai, USA, and EUROPE Managers.
- Timing availability, passion, drive, innovative and resilience to work with a multicultural team.




- Automotive industry Tier 1 expertise is a must for this position.
- It’s important that the candidate has their own transportation or another alternative to get to the plant due to limited access.
- Currently, the company is unable to provide relocation support for foreign candidates.

Experience: Minimum 4 years in automotive industry as Customer Quality Engineer in Tier 1:

- Understand the customer's quality requirements, ensure compliance with the customer's process or requirements for supplier management, and work according to customer requirements. Collect and summarize customer quality requirements or special requirements in a timely manner, and transmit these to the relevant departments of the company.
- Visit customers regularly, acknowledge customer feedback, and maintain a good relationship with customers.
- Provide timely feedback to customer complaints,



notify relevant departments within the company, and implement measures to respond quickly. Lead 8D team activities and supervise the rectification of the responsible department according to customer requirements.
- Collect related quality information from customers, including external PPM values, react to audit findings, and collect results of customer performance appraisals.
- Support and provide updates in the daily management of on-site service personnel to ensure quality work and timely problem feedback.
- Coordinate and arrange quality confirmations, repairs, or returns of products by customers.
- Submit reports required by customers in a timely manner, such as product inspection reports and inspection plans.
- Complete various customer quality-related reports on time, monitor the company's product quality performance,



and promote analysis and improvement for non-conforming projects.
- Participate in the review of quality-related agreements and contract terms of each customer.
- Handle after-sales problems and assist customers in analyzing and dealing with after-sales incidents.
- Manage warranty claims from any OEM or Tier 1 and appeal against claims that are not the company's responsibility.
- Complete all tasks assigned by superior leaders.
