Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all assigned IT vendors;
- Continually challenge vendors to achieve exceptional levels of performance;
- Execute IT vendor performance management framework that establishes performance metrics, tools for analyzing and reporting performance, and a constant end-to-end process for ensuring continuous improvements across all relevant contracts and vendors;
- Manage current IT vendors’ capabilities, business requirements, overall performance, and continually identify cost and services improvement opportunities;
- Manage and communicate commitments and timetables in IT vendor contracts and agreements to ensure delivery and expected results while staying ahead of IT vendor/contract life cycle events;
- Work with internal stakeholders to identify bottlenecks and drive solutions;
- Manage the identification and analysis of insights that define the impact of the work and effectiveness of the vendor relationships;
- Work with IT vendors to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and increased efficiency;
- Execute vendor risk management program framework to identify and mitigate risk and compliance concerns inherent in working with vendors;
- Create, maintain, and develop relationships within the IT vendor community;
- Increase transparency, connectivity, engagement, and strategic alignment between Celanese and key strategic IT vendors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management or equivalent work or education-related experience required. Advanced degree preferred;
- Minimum of six (6) years of work experience primarily in Vendor Management;
- Experienced in supplier-leading risk and performance management practices,
strategic and innovative thought processes, and can handle escalations skillfully;
- Strong project management skills;
- Proactive and creative approach to problem-solving; strong analytical skills;
- Intermediate to advanced level ability in all MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio);
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, influencing and relationship-building skills;
- Attention to detail and a self-starter;
- Fosters positive working relationships; manage stakeholders globally;
- Aptitude to prioritize key tasks effectively and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously and consistently execute responsibilities independently;
- Intermediate to advanced level ability with Smartsheet;
- SAP experience;
- Take ownership and responsibility;
- Comfortable and has a proven track record working with senior leaders and executives;
- Strong financial analysis acumen;
- Ability to work independently while balancing various tasks and priorities
- Full-time hours required and the ability to flex to meet global business hours, with additional hours as necessary.
**Preferred Skills and Qualifications**
- Experienced working in a new global IT vendor management office.
