**Role Summary**
The Loyalty Marketing Manager - Caribbean & Latin America helps to build and execute the local strategy and execution to ensure Marriott Bonvoy is the #1 travel program in the industry. Building the base of members residing in the Caribbean & Latin America and executing effective campaigns and experiences that keep them engaged and driving revenue to our hotels.
The role will report to the Director of Loyalty Marketing,
CALA, and work closely with the continent team and other key stakeholders to grow the loyalty program and drive awareness, trial, acquisition, and engagement through local marketing and activations.
The role is a crucial member of the CALA Loyalty team and will work with the CALA Consumer Operations organization and the Loyalty and Partnerships team to help lead and execute programs and initiatives related to the overall loyalty marketing strategy.
- Work closely with the Director of Loyalty Marketing to implement the continent’s vision and objectives that build and activate the customer base in the CALA region through targeted marketing
- Develop and execute the Member Communication Strategy, leveraging various channels and platforms to communicate effectively with members, ensuring clarity, consistency, and relevance of messaging.
- Develop, plan, and executive exclusive member events and Marriott Bonvoy Moments to drive engagement and program awareness
- Create engaging and relevant content for member communications,
ensuring effective communication and connection with the target audience.
- Collaborate closely with the Partnerships and Cards team to understand the goals and requirements for activations and participate during negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements during contract negotiations, working closely with the legal department when necessary.
- Provide support and localization for Global Loyalty initiatives and global strategies to enhance the loyalty program in CALA and strengthen customer loyalty, portfolio awareness, and preference
- Manage continent-level loyalty activity, develop local tactics and plans that drive enrollments.
- Serve as an internal and external champion of Marriott Bonvoy, providing guidance and direction to internal teams and external agencies regarding brand identity and guidelines.
- Access consumer,
marketplace, and discipline trends to develop marketing tactics that impact our member behavior successfully.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as Loyalty Coordinator and Paid Media manager, to align paid media strategies with overall Loyalty goals.
- Develop materials for internal and external stakeholder engagement, education, onboarding, and training
- Work with internal cross-functional teams to create and manage loyalty marketing activities.
- Collaborates with the Director of Loyalty Marketing to manage invoice tracking and ensure accurate budget tracking.
- Prepares and presents comprehensive performance reports on marketing campaigns.
**Experience**
- 4+ years’ experience of relevant professional experience in loyalty, marketing, brand activation, media, promotions, membership marketing,
or equivalent roles
- Understanding of multiple cultures for pull through in-market and implications on marketing communications
- Experience in customer acquisition, re-engagement, and retention strategies.
- Experience in marketing planning and digital marketing tactics.
- Experience working with external agencies.
- Experience working in a highly collaborative corporate environment with direct reports.
- Experience in the hospitality or travel industry preferred.
- Arabic language desirable but not required.
**Education or Certification**
- University degree required; marketing or hospitality focus preferred, or equivalent professional qualification
