The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for managing the pricing of the commodity groups he/ she supports. Price management includes analysis of price and margin performance, generating price recommendations using analytical tools, and maintaining the prices updated in Nissan's price management system.
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Analyze market, cost and part information to optimize current prices and generate new prices.
2. Analyze price, volume & mix performance across Domestic market, and generate insights to report to management teams.
3.
Keep updated the Price Lists in Nissan's dealer management systems.
4. Respond to pricing issues and inquiries from the dealer network.
5. Collaborate and effectively communicate with sales, product, purchasing, and finance team members to identify and resolve margin issues.
6. Responsible of relation with Finance team to answer external audit requests and analyze risk of part numbers with negative profit.
7. Generate preventive maintenance Nissan, Fleets & Value Advantage boards aligned with Sales, CRM, Product, Fleets & NRFM. As well as create & develop the corrective maintenance board.
8. Develope & follow up for monthly material for meetings with Top Management, coordinating areas involved.
**Qualifications & Certifications**:
- Bachelor's or information management, economics, industrial engineering or related.
- 1-2 years of experience working in a data driven or analytics related environment.
- ** Business Intelligence **background.
- Analytical and detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve complex problems positively and professionally.
- Some relational database understanding and database usage skills required.
- Proficient in MS **Excel**, MS **Access **(desirable), and / or MS **SQL **(desirable).
- Some pricing and profitability analytics and visualizations (Excel and/or Tableau) experience is helpful.
- Some experience in the automotive industry, engineered products, or a high SKU environment is helpful.
**Competencies**:
- Advanced level of English.
- Analytical thinking.
- Detail oriented and Task oriented.
- High domain of financial analysis (profitability, investments).
- Demonstrates a positive sense of urgency.
