**Responsibilities**:
**The Opportunity**
Define, develop and implement a category strategy for Corn, Corn Flour and Popcorn with the aim of ensuring the achievement of our Sustainability, E2E efficiency, Business assurance and Innovation goals. This position will work on Horizon 2 and 3 objectives for Corn and its subproducts within the Grains Team.
**Your Impact**:
As Procurement Manager LatAm your scope would consist of
- Define and execute the strategy for the Corn, Corn flour and Popcorn category bringing the best cost to the area/scope for 8 Countries (Mexico, Brazil, Guatemala, Rep. Dominican, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Peru, and Argentina) in LATAM
- Manage, Co-Design and Execute Corn Playbook Model for PMF (Commodities Risk Management)
- Co-create Pep+ Agenda in conjunction with Argo LATAM for Corn LATAM
- Owner of E2E corn hybrids validation model for Doritos brand for LATAM
- Compliance: In a challenging environment, function as a change agent to improve the process, to move this spend to Procurement excellence (compliance, best practices, competitive bidding)
- Lead the Corn BID process for Regional suppliers. Responsible for achieving the deadline for the timeline, doing the communication with stakeholders, to make sure that we have the responses on time. Implemented the contracts without disruptions and follow the implementation.
- Deep dive in the category, consolidate volume/spend/vendors of all sites and BUs to leverage our volume, when possible, in a regional or Global level
- Bring innovation to the category, new models, TCO analyses and a new model driving savings at local market level and delivering savings on a YOY basis
- Ensure the implementation of legal contract management process that will cover 100% of Suppliers
- Work with local MSO´s to provide the best alternatives for categories, including timing, cost, insurance, quality, etc.
- Build a strong relationship with the internal clients (Manufacturing; Warehouse; Supply Planning, Legal, Quality, Finance, etc.)
- Open communication with the Global team, also with the MSO to bring and share best practices
- Work with local Market to define, develop and implement BCP´s for key materials
Qualifications:
**Who Are We Looking For?**
**Education**
- Degree in Administration, International Trade, Industrial Engineering, Economy, or Agribusiness
**Experience**
- 7 to 10 years’ experience on Procurement/Sourcing preferred Corn industry knowledge
- Spanish,
English & Portuguese (Last one is highly desirable)
- Expertise in financial analysis and cost modeling
- Strong organizational, execution and negotiating skills
- Strong People skills - ability to work effectively as part of a team in a dynamic environment; comfortable and effective in influencing at all levels; ability to tactfully give/receive constructive feedback
- Negotiation skills with high knowledge in Grains industry (at least 5 years) and Process change management
- Highly Collaborative - within Global Procurement and PepsiCo divisions; with internal customers and suppliers; conflict resolution and team building
