The role of the Customer Production Planning Manager encompasses complete responsibility for overseeing an effective and legally compliant Customer Planning operation within TlP/LOG in the automotive industry.
This includes the management and oversight of skill development, process refinement, and tool implementation within the team in Toluca and the region.
**Main responsibilities of the Customer Production Planning Manager (Toluca Based)**
Customer Management (Customer Planning) in the Automotive industry
- Overseeing the process to ensure timely transmission of information and product transfers to customers.
- Supervising activities to ensure punctual fulfilment of customer requirements.
- Efficiently managing the processing of customer orders.
- Identifying and employing appropriate tools to assess fluctuations in customer orders.
- Managing processes to establish effective EDI communications with all customers.
Production Scheduling Management
- Directing the production scheduling process to ensure on-time achievement of target finished product quantities in line with confirmed customer demand.
- Managing the production scheduling process to optimize the utilization of resources, balance workloads, and level responsibilities across all areas.
- Maintaining ongoing communication with relevant contacts across all value streams to align on production schedules and their feasibility.
- Validating the feasibility of proposed production schedules by considering component availability and production capacity.
- Taking responsibility for achieving target values in finished goods inventory
Customer Logistics Oversight and Advancement
- Executing the integration of ED/PS/LOG and BU strategies pertinent to customer planning.
- Striving to meet plant-specific logistics objectives such as LIWAKS, TCT, TLC...
- Supervising and communicating pertinent Customer Planning Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders.
- Ensuring the enforcement of applicable policies, manuals, and Bosch standards.
Production Logistics Supervision and Enhancement
- Implementing the alignment of production scheduling with applicable ED/PS/LOG and BU strategies.
- Observing and relaying relevant Production Planning Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders.
- Guaranteeing the adoption of pertinent policies, manuals, and Bosch standards.
**Key requirements to perform as a Customer Production Planning Manager**:
- Bachelor´s Degree in Engineering or related fields
- Post graduate degree (preferred)
- Relevant experience (8+years desirable) with supply chain
- Customer and production planning experiences
- Experience in the Automotive industry is a must
- SAP knowledge
- Team leading experience (required)
- Business English to communicate with the main stakeholders is a must
- Disponibility to work in Toluca
