No previous industry experience required!If you have experience in call centers, contact centers, customer service, sales or hospitality, and have always wanted to work in travel, you may be perfect for our program.Our Travel Academy is an 8-week-long paid training program.
We'll give you a comprehensive course in all things travel and prepare you with everything you need to be successful as a full-time Travel Counselor assisting our client through phone.Travel Counselors are the heart of our organization at Amex GBT, providing world class service to our corporate travel clients.
You'll learn how to use industry standard booking systems (Global Distribution Systems / GDS), resolve customer inquiries for all types of travel via phone, and much more.This position is virtualLearn more about our teams, culture, and this position below.

we'll help you transition to your full-time role as a Travel Counselor.What We're Looking For- Highly proficient in computer skills including basic trouble shooting and confident in navigating new software platforms.- Experience in customer service, sales, call centers, or hospitality (3+ years) with extensive customer interaction.- Strong interpersonal communication, full proficiency in English language with exceptional listening, speaking, and problem-solving skills
