**The Opportunity**
Our Business Development department is evolving to meet the needs of our growing business and we are expanding our presence in Mexico to represent the Company and be responsible for building and reinforcing relationships to deliver our growth objectives.
Other priorities include tracking and analyzing trends, managing and reporting business risks, and contributing to the development of TC Energía's annual business plan and long-term strategy
We are looking for our Business Development Representative who will drive the identification and realization of growth opportunities that promote our vision of being the premier North American energy infrastructure company for our key stakeholders.
**Responsibilities**:
- This position ensures the company has the workforce it needs to execute its business strategy by supporting the short term and long term staffing needs for the business
- This position will work collaboratively with colleagues across North America to ensure effective programs and practices are in place to address talent acquisition needs in our various lines of business
- Develop relationships and collaborate with business leaders to address staffing needs across the organization and create specific strategies to fulfill talent acquisition needs
- Coach leaders on the TC Energia recruitment process and effective interviewing techniques
- Partner with Hiring Leaders to ensure the full recruitment cycle is completed in alignment with internal guidelines.
This will include creation of advertisements, pre-screening and interviewing,
negotiating the offer and ensuring appropriate documentation is maintained
- Develop relationships with and actively participate in industry and professional associations that will expand the company´s recruiting and networking capabilities
- Utilize innovative sourcing strategies for talent acquisition needs in difficult to recruit locations and for professional or technical disciplines in high demand
- Collaborate on other projects as requires with the Talent Acquisition team and other areas of Human Resources to plan and deliver effective services
**Minimum Qualification**
- Undergraduate degree
- preferably in Human Resources
- Minimum 4 years in Human Resources experience
- Recent experience in a recruitment function would be considered an asset
- Experience with behavioral descriptive interviewing
- Experiences with applicant tracking systems or online recruitment systems
- Excellent English and Spanish interpersonal and communication skills and networking ability
- Demonstrates initiative and effective problem solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong client focus is essential
- Strong organizational skills required
- Is a team player and collaborates effectively with others to achieve results
- Ability to work independently with little direction and to manage multiple priorities
- Is resourceful, can provide answers or solutions to recruitment related queries from clients
- Establishes and maintains strong relationships with customers, business partners and outside agencies
- Communicates appropriately both verbally and in writing, adapting to a variety of styles and circumstances
- Demonstrates cultural sensitivity - is able to work in any community understanding cultural, political and other differences
