**Job Summary**: Managing Tool Room activities to support injection molding operation.
**Must Have Skills/Experience**:- Possess good knowledge of mold design and mold function.- Able to independently make critical quality decisions on method and process of mold repair.- Possess good understanding of mold maintenance process.- Understanding of all Tool Room machining processes and inspection equipment.
(Tool Room equipment: Lathe, Milling, Grinding, EDM, CNC Mill, Wire EDM)- Able to independently use AutoCAD,
SolidWorks.- Knowledge on hot runner systems and their function.- Knowledge of different types of Tool Steel.- Good understanding of injection molding machine and process.- Trouble shoots molds at Press.- Able to plan and implement engineering changes on molds.- Able to analyze root cause for mold damage and come up with solutions to prevent mold damage.- Able to use Excel, power point and word.- Willing to work additional hours when required.- Thoroughly understands documentation process for traceability.- Conversational english skills.
**Additional Skills/Experience preferred**:- CNC programming and use of CAM software.- Experience on Wire EDM machine.- Electrode designing.- knowledge on Hydraulics and Pneumatics.- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication.- Knowledge of stamping operation and die design.
**Education**:Engineering finished.
