**What you will bring to the team**
Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is looking for an experienced Java Software Engineer to join Systems Management team to develop and to provide support to solutions for the retail market.
**What you will be doing**:
Your typical day as a Toshiba **Software Engineer II / Java **will involve:

- Developing new custom function and assisting with defect support
- Authoring functional specifications and/or high-level designs for clients
- Working closely with the QA team to ensure a quality deliverable
- Creating product documentation for end-users
- Providing configuration, installation, and ongoing maintenance support
- Providing technical guidance during requirements workshops with our clients
**Naturally To be successful in this role, you must have and know of**
- Bachelor´s degree in Engineering or related fields.
- 4+ years of working experience with software development Java
- At least 3-year experience in Object-oriented programming
- Responsible, organized, and hard working with excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
- English: Fluent
- Experience with root cause analysis and problem determination tools (E.g., Analyze Java dumps).
- Experience with performance analysis tools, memory leaks, threats analysis tools.
