Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:
- Lead and apply Klima/Non-Klima definition for Mercedes CRs
- Support Engineering Change Management (ECMs)
- Provide the liaison to Application Engineering to ensure proper commercial alignment for ECMs.
- Provide OI improvement ideas.
- Accurately communicate engineering change related details (cost & pricing).
- Drive cost savings initiatives related to investment.
- Support the implementation of the "new business pursuit" quoting process.
- Lead customer facing discussions related to engineering changes.
Preferred Skill Set
- Technical background
- Understand design concepts and APTIV engineering process
- Review basic drawing notes/schematics/sketches
- GSD knowledge and application
- Familiar with APTIV ECM database
- Communication requirements
- Language: Spanish and English
- Proficient in Exl, Pwr.Pt.,Word
