JOB SUMMARY:
The Trade Compliance Specialist will ensure the correct preparation for all import/export documents as required.
Will mitigate risk to the company and its internal customers by enhancing the compliance programs; auditing shipments; provide information to Broker for goods classification and enforcing all import/export regulations.
This person will work closely with the Logistics,



Customer Service, Planning, Materials, Engineering Procurement and Purchasing Departments.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
The ongoing responsibilities of the Trade Compliance Specialist are related to interface with our broker to ensure that all documents required for customs clearance are submitted to properly and on time.
Properly manage of Annex 24 to ensure a correct inventory customs control, keeping proper customs records electronically and physically.
Customs Compliance / Import-Export & Audit Operations
- Import-Export operation.
Evaluate various documents and commercial invoices to ensure compliance to Mexico regulations, as well as generate all documents required by different type of operations such as ground, air, maritime or virtual.
- Approve Pedimento after validating it meets with the requirements upon the import or export of materials and equipment from or to Monterrey facility.
Validate that Pedimentos (Annex 22) are properly fill out meeting customs regulations such as correct identifiers, importer-exporter information,



tariff, tariff preferences, VAT and others.
- Help to ensure the proper pedimento settlement at the time the materials or equipment is scheduled to be shipped from or to Monterrey facility.
- Maintain regular communication with planning, engineering, sourcing, maintenance and purchasing team to prepare and update tariff classification process for all materials and finish goods scheduled to be exported and provide training to users to fulfill business requirements.
- Monitor and maintain Compliance Share point, train users as required.
- Maintain Pedimento matrix weekly to validate all operations are closed and registered in our annex 24 system accurately.
- Work with logistics and Jamco teams to ensure raw material/finish goods are delivered on time.




- Issue weekly metrics to measure department and Jamco performance.
- Monitor inspector program and follow up with shipping team all the incidences detected by inspectors.
- Ensure the Pedimento upload information into Aranxel via Enterprise or Interxel.
- Revision of Glosa (DataStage) report vs Aranxel to ensure the complete data.
- Monitor based a risk matrix created by the Compliance Supervisor to identify IMMEX customs compliance issues.
- Coordinates with materials management/production, and shipping departments, as well as Customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers and local Customs officers.
- Record Keeping.
Conduct audits to ensure compliance on customs records electronically and physically.
- Maintain and control Annex 24 Customs System
- Annex 31; conduct monthly reports for inventory balance and evaluate results.




- Maintain regular communication with factory areas to keel a correct Fixed Assets Control and provide instructions for fixed assets disposition process.
- Work with Software Supply Team to ensure the correct performance of Aranxel' s Tools and implementation of improvements for the customer or updates requested by the Authority in base to Customs Legal Compliance
- Perform Monthly Internal Audit Plan of the operations vs with the goals.
EMPLOYEE SPECIFICATIONS (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS):

- Intermediate experience in Import - Export operation.
- Familiarity with Supply Chain (freight forwarding, transportation, Customs Broker)
- Understanding of MX Customs regulations, IMMEX & PROSEC programs, IVA&IEPS;, OEA, Rule 8.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced office team environment




- Solid written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Detail-oriented, possessing excellent time management skills
- Able to quickly adapt to constant changes and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated and able to research and solve problems
- Attention to detail
