The Opportunity

What You'll Contribute
- Support the capabilities of a large world-class enterprise-level platform
- Collaborate in an Agile engineering process as a member of a SCRUM team, contributing to a high-quality deliverable product
- Implement test solutions, execute test engineering strategies, and support automated functional test execution including integration and regression testing
- Support continuous integration, delivery, and production operation
- Safeguard our platform’s high performance, high availability, interoperability, and reliability
- Create and execute automated test cases from requirements and user stories, using Cypress and/or related frameworks (like Selenium, Cucumber) using Java or JavaScript
- Participate with Lead and Senior engineers and Product Management to create stories, and define their technical acceptance criteria, which includes the test approaches and designs
- Serve as source of technical expertise for quality standards and tooling
- Manage moderate complexity,
know when to seek help and avoid blocking, and proactively discover and attack issues
- Quickly escalate challenges and risks incurred during projects
- Generate metrics and information that improve test and development practices
What We're Seeking
- Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related disciplines
- Strong knowledge and experience with QA Automation
- Experience with creating, documenting, and executing test plans, implemented with automation for supporting repeatability and regression
- Experience testing frontend solutions built with Angular, and with testing RESTful Web services
- Strong troubleshooting skills and with a complex enterprise architecture
- Relational databases, SQL proficiency are required
- Experience on teams leveraging Cloud services is required, and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
is preferred
- Experienced and passionate with unit and functional testing, automated regression, and test integration
- Experience on teams leveraging Containerization, with Docker/Kubernetes
- Experience with Event Driven Architectures is a plus
- Performance testing fundamentals and practice is a plus, such as JMeter and custom frameworks
- Practical experience in Java programming is required, and additional languages or scripting languages are a plus
- Experience with Java profilers is a plus, such as JProfiler or YourKit
- Experience with Git, Maven, and Jenkins
- Comfortable with Scrum software methodology
- Strong oral and written communication skills and able to work as part of a geographically diverse team
