**Job Summary**:
The Expat Risk Coordinator will be embedded with one of Pinkerton's largest global clients. Within its corporate security organization,
and as a member of the Expat Duty of Care (EDC) program, the Coordinator addresses the evolving risk exposure of the client's expats in Mexico. The focus of the role is to directly assist expats, implement country-wide expat risk mitigation solutions, and forge trusting relationships across the business.
**Essential Functions**:
- Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
- Assess expat exposure to health, safety, and security risks during their assignments, and in the aftermath of large scale, disruptive incidents.
- Develop operational guidelines based on the principles of risk management and industry best practices aimed at fulfilling the client's Expat Duty of Care (EDC) responsibilities.
- Establish relationships with external security professionals, embassy security teams, OSAC, and/or equivalent organizations and manage vendor performance.
- Establish close working relationships with internal Protective Services Intelligence Analysts, KFRE (Kidnap for Ransom and Extortion) professionals, Travel Risk Managers, Corporate Security Managers,
and Relocation Program Managers.
- Conduct residential security assessments and provide recommendations in-line with EDC Residential Security Standards.
- Cultivate and maintain close relationships with all expats in Mexico with a very strong focus on customer service.
- Providing pre-assignment briefings to expats relocating to Mexico and on an ongoing basis, as needed.
- Host ‘town hall' meetings with expats to discuss safety and security concerns and provide appropriate guidance on a regular cadence.
- Monitor expat initial deployment, home leave, PTO, and repatriation;
- Provide ongoing travel advice in medium and high threat areas throughout assignments.
- Partner with the Protective Services Intelligence Analysts to pro-actively update country and city threat ratings and report changes to leadership, as required.
- Review expat routines after change in country/city threat rating or significant incident, and advise accordingly.
- Conduct expat accountability/welfare checks during or immediately after a significant incident.
- Create and maintain real-time communications lists for expats in Mexico and partner with Business Assurance Center (BAC), Crisis Management team, and Kidnap for Ransom and Extortion (KFRE) professionals to ensure all expat contact details are up-to-date.
- Host exit interviews/customer feedback meetings prior to expat leaving country;
- Remove expat from communication lists and assist departed expat with any cases of identity theft/fraud post-assignment.
- All other duties, as assigned.
