**The Opportunity**
Procurement is looking forward to become a strategic partner for business beyond productivity and supply assurance. Innovation and Sustainability is an essential part of Procurement transformation journey that needs to be developed and accelerated.
Procurement’s role in the sustainability agenda is crucial to achieve 2030 pep+ targets. Pep+ Manager will be responsible of leading the PMF pep+ agenda (Agriculture, Climate, Packaging and Positive Choices) within Procurement in order to harmonize ways of working with clear strategies cross-category and become the single point of contact with the LATAM Sustainability Office for projects, reporting and key interventions.
Manager will be responsible as well for creating a strategic Innovation framework cross-category (Directs + Indirects)
The role seeks to harmonize and boost how innovation is tackled in Procurement in order to lever on suppliers inno capabilities. Design new ways of working with R&D;, Marketing and Commercialization will be needed to make Procurement part of the innovation process even before the ideation phase; this to better answer to consumers and brands needs, to complement the business with suppliers market insights and trends and to improve overall speed to market. Early involvement of Procurement can double the value of competitive advantage sources in terms not only of innovation but in quality, sustainability, speed and risk reduction.
This FTE will also be responsible for looking for new partners to solve business roadblocks while thinking out of the box, expanding the supply base,
making alliances with startups and academia or doing cross-industry benchmarking.

**Your Impact**
As **Global Proc Assoc Manager** your scope would consist of:
- Lead the creation of an innovation and growth hacking framework considering current sector’s pain points
- Establish an elevated relationship with R&D;, Marketing, Insights and Commercialization to make Procurement a relevant actor in the innovation processes capable of supporting the teams assertively. Have a clear RACI
- Set a baseline to measure speed to market improvements in key categories; report quarterly improvements in selected categories
- Train Procurement team on Marketing basic concepts to better connect with brands and Topline; generate an annual knowledge of business growth spaces, brands demand spaces, needstates, consumers tensions, trends and other relevant market insights
- Support and lead buyers in the assessment of suppliers innovation capabilities potential; insights, fast prototyping, R&D;, small-scale production, route to market, portfolio solutions, etc
- Map current suppliers ecosystem
- Scout jointly with R&D; for new technologies and pilot solutions that can be scalable
- Design and implement tools for brand managers to take faster and informed decisions when doing product development processess
- Lead and execute an annual innovation event targeting top senior leaders, cross-functional managers, suppliers and entrepreneurs
- Launch a specific innovation framework for Indirect categories putting focus on Point of Sales, Media and Digital
- Measure, track progress and report all the initiatives ‘hacked’ by Procurement
- Make innovation a key pillar of Suppliers Relationship Management program in all categories with specific KPIs
- Carry out market research in order to keep up to date with customer trends, as well as trying to predict future trends
- Run the financial analysis of pep+ costs and co-develop with buyers a cost mitigation plan
- Design a suppliers engagement program to accelerate Climate targets (Scope 3 reduction by 40%)
- Coordinate Climate agenda for Scope 3 targets; get on board suppliers to make GHG reduction commitments, ensure open reporting and to join renewable energy program
- Lead Scope 1 & 2 GHG reduction plans for Procurement; run feasibility assessments, socialize agenda’s R&O; and push for cost reduction; for example, electric fleet, rene
