Quality Engineer - Lead - Manual - GDS Mexico

As part of our GDS Consulting team, you will be part of GDS Technology Consulting team delivering to clients across regions. The client base spans across various sectors and includes collaboration with other teams within Consulting services.
The opportunity
As a Manual QA Lead, you will be accountable & responsible to create test cases, confirm the deliverables are according to the defined acceptance criteria, document and track test cases, maintain, and execute regression tests ensuring all needs are properly met and aligned to the customer expectation.
Your key responsibilities
- Reviewing requirements for static analysis testing
- Defining acceptance criteria with PO and Devs
- Review, organize, and archive tests
- Grooming tests to rank and archive them
- Planning test cycles
- Create test cases by leveraging the Acceptance criteria for the user story
- Collaborate with quality partners on the project
- Logging defects and tracking defects through their lifecycle
- Ensure delivery of testing artifacts through the process
- Investigate failing tests both manual and automated
- Participate in scrum ceremonies
- Generated Test Summary Reports
- Lead UAT sessions with the client stakeholders
- Lead or Mentor junior and/or mid-level team members.
Skills and attributes for success
You have familiarity and experience operating in complex tech organizations that work with several products at scale and make use of agile methodologies and tools
- Working in project teams through agreed upon phases and rollout of a client's project lifecycle
- Interacting and communicating effectively with teammates, clients, stakeholders, and executives
- Should have excellent communication skills & should be able to articulate concisely & clearly
- Can operate independently or with minimum supervision
- Attend status calls as needed
- Ability to deliver presentations and demonstrations to project stake holders
To qualify for the role you must have
Knowledge and hands-on experience in manual testing.
- Bachelor's degree (Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Mathematics) or related experience
- 5+ years of Manual Test experience
- Dynamics 365 Field service platform
- Azure DevOps
- Jira
- Created QA Strategy and automation approach from scratch.
- Strong written and verbal communication, technical writing skills, and strong interest in further developing with technology skills.
