Our client, a growing electronics manufacturer with breakthrough technology, is looking to hire an Accounting Manager for their facility in Cd. Juarez, Chih.
JOB SUMMARY
The Accounting Manager will be a key member of our finance organization and lead all aspects of our accounting, finance, and tax functions for our manufacturing operations in Juarez. You will have the capacity to accurately provide analysis and timely reporting to the facility manager, the corporate offices in the U.S., and applicable third parties on all aspects of the operation including material costs, inventory, labor, and other expenses.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead all financial related projects and aspects of the operations along with the plant manager.
- Act as a key leader to establish processes for physical inventory counts, valuation, and consumption controls.
- Ensure inventory usage and physical counts are properly represented on the Balance Sheet and Income Statement.
- Oversee fixed asset schedules and depreciation.
- Oversee accounts payable for the location.
- Provide support to implement, document, and execute an IMMEX program.
- Work closely with third-party advisors to ensure accurate and timely filing of relevant tax information.
- Ensure accurate reporting.
- Oversee the execution and accurately report payroll.
- Maintain controls and discipline compliant with local and U.S. accounting requirements.
- Perform analyses for management on an ad hoc and recurring basis.
- Drive continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics management.
- Identify and implement new practices and processes that are “best in class.”
- Demonstrate a commitment to customer service; anticipate, meet, and exceed expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively; making customer issues a priority.
- Manage all reporting and information requests for the company’s U.S. headquarters to ensure the company complies with its reporting and accounting requirements.
- Ensure 100% adherence to all company policies and procedures (i.e. Health and Safety, Quality).
- Ensure all sensitive and confidential information is handled appropriately.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; MBA and/or CPA is preferred.
- 10+ years of Accounting Experience.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage conflict.
- Proficient verbal and written English skills.
- Business Central experience is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Project skills required.
- Must be in office daily.
