**About the role.**
The **Operations Business Partner** is a cross-functional team working across the whole company, including both planning and operations. The team is a partner to the senior leadership and team leaders at Konfío focusing on high-impact strategic projects and problem-solving initiatives.
**What will this role do day-to-day?**
- Structure complex and ambiguous strategic problems for the Konfío leadership team (Operations and Business)
- Define clear hypotheses to identify new opportunities, and help build business cases and quantitative models that will inform and influence our strategy.
- Partner with product leadership, using data and insight to define changes, design experiments, and implement those changes across our products
- Contribute to improving our capabilities by enhancing existing processes and recruiting and developing new team members.
- BA / BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of experience in an operations business-strategy role (customer service, quality assurance, processes, Operations at a start-up, etc.)
- Outstanding executive-level verbal and written communication skills
- Passion for solving complex problems, and building scalable processes
- Comfort working in a high growth, constantly changing environment
- Additional experience working at a high growth startup
- Understanding of and experience building operational areas including teams, tools, processes, reporting/metrics.
- Proven leadership experience and ability to use appropriate methods and a flexible interpersonal style to motivate and build a cohesive team for achieving goals and objectives.
- Willingness to take ownership and accountability to deliver business goals - execution to achieve specific desired results.
- Proven skills to build and influence an interdisciplinary network within an organization and engage with senior management.
- Proven ability to identify opportunities and promptly initiate action and escalate potential risks.
- Strong commitment to providing high standards of quality for customer, partner and client service
- Effective strategic, delegating,
planning and time management skills to meet strict deadlines and team objectives
- Ability to effectively address and manage conflict
- Ability to communicate proactively and openly with internal and external business partners - to senior and executive level
- Proven ability to implement and manage change across direct and indirect teams.
- Proactive, self-starter able to consistently deliver work of a high standard whilst under pressure, comfortable working independently in a dynamic and challenging environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a commanding and convincing delivery and the ability to present information in differing degrees of detail and form depending on the audience.
- Strong skills in time management with the ability to manage complex work plans,
conflicting priorities and the ability to multi-task when required.
- Ability to reconcile, analyze and interpret data, and to summarize key messages for providing commentary
- Attention to detail with logical thought process
