Objective:
MBMex is seeking an International Trade Compliance Sr. Analyst for Vans segment to ensure efficient and compliant import of vehicles. We are eager to work with an outstanding individual who possesses integrity, personal accountability, enthusiasm with a positive attitude and passion for Foreign Trade and Customs compliance. This role is also responsible for maintaining import and export documentation, attend audits, develop trade compliance metrics, lead compliance programs and special projects and develop cross-functional activities required by the ITC team.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Compliant & timely processing & coordination of Vans import operations performed by MBMex (air, land & sea).
a. Communicate with customs brokers, ocean/air carriers, and freight forwarders, as necessary,
to ensure proper documentation and filing of import and export entries in accordance with Mexican customs regulations and corporate guidelines.
b. Process sporadic temporary exports and returns of materials or vehicles according to the corporate and legal Export Controls guidelines.
c. Adhere to Corporate and legal record retention policies, ensuring the documental compliance of trade related files.
d. Prepare MBMex Customs Compliance and Foreign Trade Statistics reports for internal or external purposes.
e. Calculate correctly and process funding requests to cover all the necessary duty/tax payments needed for the import operations.
2. Design KPIs and maintain performance scorecards, finding synergies across different regions / entities.
3. Execute internal control activities to ensure the adherence of processes to corporate and legal standards.

Take the necessary actions within the area in order to contribute to the achievement and maintenance of certificates of quality, environmental, fiscal, information technology or any other; as well as being required to maintain the confidentiality of information company or business that may make the certification dilemma or welfare of the company itself or its employees.
5. Execute and provide support for AEO Certification and Foreign Trade related government requirements for the company and Customs special projects, as well as any activity required by the International Trade Compliance department
**Profile**:
1. Education: Bachelor Degree preferable in International Trade, Foreign Trade, International Relations, Finance or related field.
2. Language(s): Advanced English
3. Professional experience: Minimum 2 year experience in accountant or law firm, Mexican customs regulation, Import & Export customs process,
Customs Brokerage firm or large multi-national business. Experience supervising groups.
4. Additional Qualifications: Experience and understanding of Foreign Trade, customs legal framework and automotive industry. Knowledge of the Automotive Fiscal Deposit regime. Expert knowledge on Free Trade Agreements and special programs (AEO, CTPAT, VAT, domestic and international requirements, import controls). VUCEM usage, SAAI portal and HTS basics.
