This is a specialized Technical-Commercial role that focuses on managing and promoting Video Management Systems (VMS) and related security products to distributors and wholesale customers. Ideal candidates would be those with experience in CCTV security integrators, distributors, or consultants who have managed VMS solutions as a product manager. We also welcome professionals with a strong network in the security industry and solid sales and technical skills.
Responsibilities:
VMS Product Expertise: Drive the promotion and positioning of Video Management Systems (VMS) products to channel partners and key clients, ensuring a clear understanding of the product's capabilities and benefits.
Technical Solutions:
Assist customers in selecting, configuring, and integrating VMS products tailored to their specific needs.
Problem Resolution: Act as the first point of contact for addressing and resolving VMS-related technical issues for customers.
Technical Training: Conduct training sessions for channel clients, focusing on technical proficiency with VMS platforms, product updates, and best practices.
Sales and Strategy Collaboration: Work closely with sales teams to align on customer needs, providing them with the technical support needed to close deals and create comprehensive VMS sales strategies.
Marketing and Feedback Loop: Collaborate with the marketing team to promote VMS products, provide technical insights, and gather market feedback to improve future product iterations.
Pre-sales Support: Offer technical pre-sales support by developing solution designs, responding to RFPs, and demonstrating VMS functionalities to potential customers.
Requirements:
4 years of experience in the electronic security industry,
with a minimum of 2 years as a product manager specializing in VMS or related technologies.
Proven experience in managing and supporting VMS or CCTV software platforms.
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
Strong technical background in CCTV, Networking, Cloud Computing, and VMS integration.
Hands-on knowledge of camera imaging, storage solutions, cloud architecture, and OEM processes.
Excellent presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Availability short business trips.
